SCANCA, INC. publishes at least two newsletters per year.  The newsletters educate on the management of sickle cell disease, examine emerging issues and research, and emphasize the financial, ethical, legal, and social implications of the disease for the community.  The newsletters also include stories that inspire others and provide information on upcoming programs and events.

We invite you to submit articles and/or assist us with publishing our bi-annual newsletter.  Share your experiences as you assist others with education and information.  Are you able to discuss “Your Life with Sickle Cell Disease” or any topic related to Sickle Cell Disease?  Do you have a family member or close friend who is affected by this disease?  Would you speak on how you and/or your family cope?
 
Articles should be written for the benefit of Sickle Cell Disease patients and/or caregivers, and should be one page in length, 12-point font, saved as Microsoft Word if submitted by email.
